Kim Howard is a fabric designer who has moved into book illustration with the publication of The Other Side Of The Wall, Mimi And Gustav And The Pirates by Denis Woychuk (Lothrop), The Lovables, picture book from H.J. Kramer, Inc. and A Cloak For The Dreamer by Aileen Friedman (Scholastic, 1995), Half Chicken/Mediopollito by Alma Flor Ada, and Zorro And Quiwi. In My Grandmother's House (Lothrop, 1994) is the first book she wrote and illustrated. Her books Where Does God Live (1997) and The Chief's Blanket (HJ Kramer, 1998) have been very popular.
