Author-illustrator Abi Cushman made her picture book debut with Soaked (Viking,2020), a Kids' Indie Next List Top 10 Pick. Her Snow Day for Goat and Badger (unpublished) won the 2017 Susan P. Bloom Children’s Book Discovery Award. Animals Go Vroom will also be published by Viking in 2021. And her third book is in the works.

Abi is the founder and contributing editor of the kids’ education website, Animal Fact Guide, named a “Great Website for Kids” by the American Library Association. Abi loves sharing strange animal facts. Did you know that wombats’ poop is cube-shaped? Abi did. And now you know, too!
