Gail Gordon Carter illustrated Mac, Marie and the Train Toss Surprise (Four Winds Press,1993) and May'naise Sandwiches & Sunshine Tea (Simon & Schuster, 1994). Her illustrations for The Glass Bottle Tree by Evelyn Coleman were published by Orchard in 1995. She also works as a family counselor.
